Hello everyone! May we welcome this new year with good and optimum health. Our topic for today is about cholesterol level. How many people were wondering what are their cholesterol levels, and why their physicians keep on putting emphasis on it. Let’s dig a bit deeper.

What is cholesterol and its functions? Cholesterol or commonly known as “fats” in our body system are substances that assist our body tissues, cell membranes and several hormones. Keeping it in normal levels are vital in everyone’s health. However, as people grow older – the body systems grow older too. Having elevated cholesterol level expedites that aging process of our body systems. It makes our body weak and more prone to chronic diseases such as cardiac problems, stroke, liver failure, and more. Your liver plays an important role in producing your blood cholesterol.

The traditional way of cooking your food requires oil. This minimum oil usage contributes significantly in increasing your cholesterol blood level. Vegetable oil develops harmful chemicals as they undergo the process of oil creation. Another method of traditional cooking that people thinks healthy is grilling. Please remember that grilling and charring your food can activate carcinogens. This can cause cancer. As always, every process has pros and cons.

It’s very beneficial to know these things. Like many I do love a lot of fried foods, but I don’t love all the greasiness of those foods often using hot sauce and sodas to cut through that greasy mess to help swallow those greasy foods. Not a very healthy choice but taste good. Really love the air fryer for I can have the crispiness of deep fried without all that fatty grease. Which helps me cut back on unhealthy sodas . Very great article to help cut out the unhealthy and still have great food.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve heard a lot about the beneficial use of air fryers. I believe that an air fryer not only helps us lower our cholesterol level by getting rid of too much fat on our diet, but it also saves us from spending unnecessary money buying cooking oil.
